Organization of public administration in the Capital City of Prague

of the thesis "Organisation of public administration in the City of Prague" This thesis focuses on complex issue of organisation of public administration in the City of Prague. The reason, which led author to choose this topic, is that there are only few jurists, who dedicate more that several words to this subject in their studies or articles. Therefore this subject matter isn't as explored as for example organisation of public administration in villages or counties in Czech Republic. Aim of this thesis is to go through several sources of information from legislation, judgements and jurisprudence and provide a complex view on current legislation, which regulates organisation of public administration in the City of Prague. Author also tries to add his opinions on some sources. At first we find some theoretical introduction to the topic and brief summary of historical development of the Prague. These facts are used in following chapters. Main part of the thesis is in Chapter Five and Chapter Six. Chapter Five includes description of legislation, which concerned this issue since 1850. This year was not selected casually. It's year of inception of self-government in the Prague. Women between family and work. Conditions for harmonization of work and family in Prague

Diploma thesis "Women between family and work: Conditions for harmonization of work and family in Prague" is focused on current problem which is being dealt with on national as well as supranational level. The aim of this thesis is to describe the factors influencing harmonization of family and professional life of the mothers with children from two to six years old in region of Prague and find out whether the policy of state and regional governments reflect these factors. Chosen factors are described from the macro perspective but individual influences are also dealt with. On one hand the attention is allocated to state policy, especially from the point of view of Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, but also from the point of selected municipality - municipal authority of Prague and municipality Prague 17.

The Behaviour of Investors in Prague Historic Reservation

The current situation in the historic centre of Prague does not allow for interference in the behaviour of investors. The tools for protection of Prague Historic Reservation are insufficient. Much of the real estate is not used and becomes ruins, resulting in an irreplaceable cultural and social, but also economic loss to the Prague Historical Reservation which is on the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the current state of Prague Historic Reservation as well as to suggest possible solutions. Analyses, own research, interviews and statistics have been used to prove the situation. There is a part of the thesis comparing the current state with other cities abroad (e.g. Vienna, Dresden, Cologne, Paris).

This thesis is aimed at comparison web pages of selected districts of Prague. Its benefit consists in determination of the quality of web pages on this specific level of public sector. Moreover, each testing is concluded with a listing of major shortcomings and suggestions for improvements. Last but not least, the relationship between usability testing and heuristic testing has been determined at the end of this thesis.

Development of urban districts Horní Počernice and Běchovice in the light of house building

My bachelor's thesis contains socioeconomic analyse of current situation in urban districts of Prague 9 -- Horní Počernice and Běchovice. I have concentred on realizationed and planned build-up in urban districts. In the other part I have found out how urban districts draw from funds of European Union. Which projects Horní Počernice and Běchovice were supported and which projects are planned to invest in future. After that I have been occupied with questioning. I have found out, how residents are satisfied with increasing residential build-up. In next part I have made SWOT analysy upon questioning and my own opinion. At the close I have expressed my own opinion on actual events in urban districts, on expansion of residential build-up and its social and area impacts.

DEMOGRAFICKÉ POSTAVENÍ MČ PRAHA 7 V RÁMCI HLAVNÍHO MĚSTA PRAHY

Tato diplomová práce si klade za cíl zmapovat vývoj a stav demografických ukazatelů městské části Prahy 7, kterou zároveň vymezuje v rámci hlavního města Prahy. Tohoto cíle se snaží dosáhnout pomocí statisticko-demografických metod analýzy dat. Jedná se tedy o jakýsi manuál pro všechny, kteří se o Praze 7 chtějí dozvědět něco víc na základě demografických údajů. V první kapitole jde o vymezení jednotlivých katastrálních území Prahy 7 z hlediska historického i emografického. Druhá kapitola je již zaměřena na Prahu 7 jako celek. Nejprve se v ní zabývám vývojem počtu obyvatel a jejich strukturou. Kapitola o struktuře obyvatel je ještě doplněna projekcí na dalších 20 let dopředu. Následuje podkapitola zkoumající strukturu domovního a bytového fondu a bytové výstavby, na kterou navazuje hodnocení ekonomické aktivity obyvatel této městské části. Na závěr přidávám vyhodnocení perspektivy budoucího vývoje, kde využívám metody SWAT analýzy.
